Good hippie jam songs?
I've been jamming to stuff like I would on guitar, but using saxophone a lot lately.
I've already played leads over "East-West" by the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, "Sister Ray," "I'm Waiting For The Man," and "Run Run Run" by the Velvet Underground, "White Room" by Cream, "Down By The River," by Neil Young, even stuff like "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield.
What other hippie-ish songs are good to jam over?
nice style...from what i can tell your pretty advanced so a couple of songs that i recommend are Santeria by Sublime, White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane, Strange Brew (or pretty much any song) by Cream, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, Friend of the Devil by The Greatful Dead, Purple Haze (or again anything by) Jimi Hendrix, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin... etc etc etc...
Just a couple of suggestions but try playin songs that you listen to cause I dig your style. Best of luck!
