If you open a woman's closet, you are likely to discover no less than one silk shawl or scarf. In fact, unlike their commercial counterpart, handcrafted silk accessories actually brighten when washed. The process seems to intensify their colors and enhance the original dazzling sheen of the material.
Admittedly, hand painted silk shawls and scarves are more expensive than the mass-produced printed ones. Yet, this actually is an even better reason to wear them more frequently. Ask yourself this. "Why should I spend good money on something then let it sit around out of sight of everyone?" You will get more out of your investment if you use it more frequently. Accessorize often. Get more for your money by using it to add some pizzazz to your wardrobe. You can use your accessories to transform your older outfits instead of spending money on new ones, saving money in the long-run. With the financial situation being as it is, does it not make more sense to use your marvelous accessories? It seems obvious. Bring your silk scarves and shawls out of the closet more often.
