What's a good way of selling old vinyl records?
I have a box of old vinyl in the loft . It includes some picture discs and limited editions in varying conditions (mint cellophaned to a bit scratched). I want to sell them but with minimum effort.
The records are all a bit 'metal'.
Does anyone know of a good place to shift them (I'm based in South East UK)?
I used to sell records, unless you know a lot about them take them to a reputable dealer in your area. Some are worth a fortune now but most are worth nothing.
Look them up on Ebay and see what titles are worth a lot. If they are going for a lot try them on there or sell them to a record shop.
Don't sell them at a yard sale you will get ripped off. That is where dealers buy them and re-sell for a huge profit because they know what they are looking for.
