What is the best Route and places to stop by, going from Valencia, CA to San Francisco, CA?
My youngest sister (20) came to visit me from Spain and I want to take her to see San Francisco. We are living tomorrow Sunday or Monday, departing from Valencia and only have three days or so to tour. We were thinking going up by the coast and then coming back on the freeway which is faster but less exiting. I am trying to come up with an itinerary to make the best use of the time but find myself without time to investigate properly! ( I am still at work right now…shhh ) Any suggestions about what route to take and what places to stop by? Thank you so much
pink lady has it right, and so do you, just cruz up the coast and even after san fran go across the golden gate bridge and up more coast then cruz back down the 5.

in three days you have plenty of time to explore and while in san fran go to the End of the Golden Gate park to the Sutro baths and have dinner/lunch at the Cliff house, they have great clam chouder if you like tht,, but it is a great resteraunt.
I used to live right there, and go to the great highway towards daly city and the coast it is so pretty, but make sure yo goto the Sutro baths, it is neat place to explore!
