It has been often that the lyrics of sentimental songs made my eyes wet. It is not because I have the cry baby syndrome but of memories from the past nostalgia instead.
Lyrics are cleverly crafted with the feelings of love. I should say more than ninety percent of songs carried the message of love and romance.
The oldies were the typical example where the meanings were coined beautifully with metaphorical elaborations unlike what rappers today are yakking about.
Songs are our intimate friends because we are singing with them at our lonely hours when we are away from someone who meant so much to us. Well, I would play the song "Send Me The Pillow That You Dream On" over and over again, and smirk at the hazy memories that lingered at the back of my mind.
The imaginations would drift to those wonderful moments when we danced cheek-to-cheek and how I hummed the song, "Help Me Make It Through The Night" into her ears in soft rendering whispers disregarding to the untimely song "Please Release Me" that we were dancing to.
How she would react to my naughtiness will be titillating and I expected her to ask me, "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" but instead she responded with "Heartbreak Hotel".
As we kept dancing through the night, a silent scream echoed through my mind when the scent of a woman filled the romantic air. Her hair flustered to the melodious song, "You're Always On My Mind". The moment our lips met, I returned from my reverie and concurred that the road of the past nostalgic memories were worth the reminiscence!
This is only a figment of my imagination to rekindle all the wonderful moments with songs. Somehow or rather, we all had our own ways with all beautiful songs that meant so much to us.
As for music, I am all for Paul Mauriat orchestra. The mood blends impeccably with the melody of the tune.
I love listening to the tune of, "Summer Place" played especially in the afternoon. The melodious sound at G minor and the crescendo from the strings sneaking out in the afternoon heat will magically transport me to my imaginary world. That is what I want and where I want to go to, because it will come true to how my imagination had conceived in my mind.
Music and songs works its real magic to drift me away to my fantasy and dreamland. It is truly emotional with a captivating touch to fill the void of any sentimental feelings.
The mood changes with happy tears blossoming in the eyes fill with consuming fascinations. I am sober actually (sic) but drowned in a bottle of passion filled with empty silence.
In our lives, beauty and adversity walk side by side, and the pain and joy of life's journey seems unending. In many chapters of our lives they were filled with a sea of empty space that left us wondering what had gone wrong. This is when you don't have to do your "Crying In The Rain" to hide away the tears.
In the moment of solitude, the desolation of beauty emerged painfully slow to entice peace and quiet to dwindle in the memory. When hush fell, we could easily release the bondage of emotion that had stretched long and thin by embracing the dawn for a new hope.
I will at this moment play, "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" for motivation and the magic of orchestral music, "Summer Place" to help me to be like a child again to live in my own world of fantasy.
This is the reason why I am deeply in love with music and songs because "Everything Is Beautiful" in life and I believe you do too!
