Any recommendations of a hotel in Agra with a view of the Taj Mahal?
Any recommendations on a nice hotel in Agra with a view of the Taj Mahal? I have heard the Oberoi is nice, but not sure I want to spend that much money, unless its truly worth it. Any other suggestions?

While Amarvilas (The Oberoi Resort) is just 600 metres form Taj mahal and is simply outstanding, I still feel its not worth it to spend that kind of money..
I would recommend The Gateway Hotel (Taj Group of Hotels) which has rooms that provide breathtaking views of Taj Mahal and is comparatively cheaper.. You can visit www.thegatewayhotels.com for more information.
