Ussr Edition

How do I win at Axis and Allies the revised edition. I need Country specifics and a first round focus.?
I play with seasoned veterans. I have tried a few different startegies like being very aggressiveness with Axis in the opening rounds and spending a lot on tech development with Allies (long-range aircraft with US, Heavy Bombers with UK, and rockets with USSR), my dice haven't been too cold but I.m still getting rocked. What do I do in the first three rounds from either side?
Ok, first of all, don't waste any coin on tech development. Hitler was all into technology and look where that got him. Second, I like the strategy of being aggressive with the Axis. You must strike quickly with the Axis because they have an overwhelming advantage in military power to start the game. You must end the game before the Americans can get into it. First round moves for the Axis would be:
Japan: Buy lots of transports and empty the islands. Get rid of the American presence in China. Threaten Calcutta to make the Allies sweat a little and open a two front war with Russia to ease the stranglehold the Germans are in.
*note: these moves more often than not will take more than one turn
Germany: Get the Kriegsmarine into open water and try to stop any American reinforcements. Rid the Mediterranean of all British ships. Try a little blitzkrieg to take Leningrad. This will distract Russia to give you an opportunity to either build your army or let you get to Moscow unnoticed. VERY IMPORTANT: Decide if you want to mess with Africa. If you do, do it fast and be successful. Take the Suez Canal to allow the superior Japanese navy to come and assist you. If you don't want to bother (which I suggest), then get your forces out and save all the manpower possible.
